52 year old woman with kiwi-sized defect after right breast lumpectomy.  Reconstruction performed with pedicled serratus branch perforator flap.  Photos at one month, just prior to radiation therapy.

Operation: Stage I right latissimus muscle/skin flap and tissue expander. Stage II right tissue expander to implant, left implant up-size

Patient: 37 year old with history of left breast cancer treated with lumpectomy and radiation. Now with recurrent left breast cancer.

 

Operation: Stage I left mastectomy, latissimus muscle/skin flap, and tissue expander. Stage II left tissue expander to implant and right breast augmentation for symmetry.
