Hunter Oliver-Allen, MD

Dr. Oliver-Allen is a board certified plastic surgeon who specializes in cancer, trauma, and congenital reconstruction.

Special Clinical Interests: microvascular reconstruction, including breast, extremity reconstruction and limb salvage.

He has special interest in microvascular reconstruction including breast, extremity reconstruction and limb salvage and is passionate about helping patients recover form and function.

 

Dr. Oliver-Allen was born and raised in the Bay Area where he spent his youth playing sports, skiing, fishing, and mountain biking. He attended Colorado College earning a BA in Mathematics and Biochemistry and then attended medical school at Indiana University where he graduated top of his medical school class and earned the distinction of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society member.

 

During his training he completed research fellowships at the University of Pennsylvania, the National Institutes of Health and Harvard Medical School. He then went on to complete his plastic surgery residency at the University of California San Francisco followed by a microvascular reconstruction fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, where his focus was on microvascular breast reconstruction as well as sarcoma and extremity reconstruction.

 

Dr. Oliver-Allen recently moved to Spokane and joined the team at Plastic Surgery Northwest. Outside of the hospital he spends most of his time with his family and his dog Steely Dan. He is an avid fly fisherman and enjoys spending time outdoors skiing and mountain biking. Dr. Oliver-Allen and his family are excited to be part of the Plastic Surgery Northwest family, and the greater Spokane community!

Dr. Oliver has been an excellent addition to the Plastic Surgery Northwest Team.
